Roof Repair Smedway's Flat Roof Repair crews are trained on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems across Jenkintown, not general shingle work applied to a flat surface.
Our Flat Roof Repair technicians are trained specifically on membrane systems, not general shingle repair applied to a low-slope roof.
We also test repaired seams for a proper bond before leaving, rather than assuming a visual check is enough.
Every Flat Roof Repair technician carries current Jenkintown, PA licensing for commercial roofing work.
We coordinate timing to reduce impact on tenants or foot traffic wherever possible.
Written Flat Roof Repair estimates cover membrane type, repair scope, and labor upfront.
Proper membrane welding equipment prevents the seam failures common with improvised patches.
Here's what falls under our Jenkintown Flat Roof Repair service for commercial and low-slope roofs.
TPO seam separation gets properly heat-welded, not just caulked over as a temporary fix.
We identify the membrane type first, since EPDM and TPO repairs use different adhesive systems.
We identify why water is pooling — often a low spot or blocked drain — before recommending a solution.
We assess whether a modified bitumen repair needs a patch or a full section replacement.
Clogged or damaged drains are a leading cause of Jenkintown flat roof ponding and membrane stress.
Rooftop HVAC units and their curbs are a frequent source of Jenkintown commercial roof leaks that general roofers often overlook.
We start by discussing the issue — ponding, active leak, or visible membrane damage.
A technician inspects the membrane system, checking seams, drains, and any ponding areas.
Repair scope and pricing are explained clearly so you can plan around business operations.
Repaired seams are tested for a proper bond before we leave the site.
TPO seam repair was clean, tested it before leaving to make sure it actually held.
